This painting has been submitted to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Inspired by a walk along the top of the South Downs at Ditchling Beacon, where I love to stare out at the panoramic views of the patchwork landscape in the valley below.

From my series of paintings, 'framescapes' with a painted frame, using lightfast inks onto a primed wood base. Title, date and signature on the back and fitted with 2 x metal D-rings, ready to hang.

Read more about the framescape series in Nichola's blog, The First Framescape or view more from the collection here.
