Celebrating the importance of our rivers and inspired by the tranquility of spending time in nature, this painting of the South Downs with the Sussex Ouse and its tributaries that run through the landscape. Painted in soft pastel tones of turquoise and sepia, the colour reflects the sense of peace and light. This painting is currently taking part in the South Downs Open exhibition at Petersfield Museum 22nd October to 1st February 2025.
 
Titled, dated and signed on the reverse side. Framed in painted Lime-white (Farrow & Ball) wood tray frame fitted with 2 x metal D-rings and cord and ready to hang.
