This new edition (20) of this delightful seashore print, inspired both by childhood memories at the rockpools at Rottingdean beach, near Brighton and the Sussex author, Enid Bagnold (most well-known for National Velvet) who lived and swam there. The title of my collage is derived from her the title of her play 'The Chalk Garden'. As I child I remember a real fascination of those rockpool worlds and the many hours of play spent at the beach.
 
A faithful reproduction of the original collage, the print is available in two size editions of 50, printed on Arches Aquarelle Rag 310 gsm with a hand-torn edges.
