Almost abstract, the turquoise blue haze of the distant horizon against the early autumn downland grasses, inspired by the view from the top of the escarpment and heading back down, rambling home. This walk is near the beacon at Ditchling on the top of the Downs looking north and down to the distant fields below. 
 
Painted using lightfast India inks onto a primed birchwood panel. Title, date and signature on the back.
Framed in wooden tray-frame and fitted with 2 metal D-rings ready to hang.
