This triptych was inspired by the South Downs landscape in winter when the sun stays low on the horizon and the land is kissed by mist and frost between the hedgerows. Except for the occasional bird on the wing, everything is just resting and waiting for warmer days.
Three atmospheric Indian ink paintings 21 cms (high) x 14.8 cms (wide) x 2 cms (deep). The frame size measures 25 x 49.7 cms. Each panel is titled, dated and signed on the reverse side in a bespoke tray-frame that is a hand-painted (Farrow and Ball, Blackened) and fitted with 2 x metal D-rings and cord ready to hang.
