Available from Chalk Gallery, Lewes this little painting was inspired by the view from the beach in Brighton, the UK's most eco-friendly city. The Rampion wind farm turbines have been clearly visible on the horzon line from Brighton's beaches since 2018, generating green electricity for almost half the homes in Sussex with it's 116 turbines. They occupy a 70 square kilmetre site to harness the natural power of the wind, making it 'Windblown' and an inspirational reminder of the city's green credentials.
Rampion is also the name of the blue flower of Sussex.
This painting is from my Framescape series, inspired by the beautiful downland, forests and coastline of Sussex. Painted using lightfast inks onto a primed wood base in it's own integral wood frame with title, date and signature on the back.
Fitted with 2 x metal D-rings and ready to hang.
